Do & Charge
Do & Charge work is carried out on a time-and-materials basis — you pay for the actual time spent and materials used, with no fixed-price quote required upfront.
When Do & Charge Applies
Do & Charge is suitable for reactive maintenance, small repairs, investigations and any work where the full scope cannot be determined until the job is underway. It is also used for urgent or emergency callouts where there is no time to prepare a formal quote.
How It Works
Labour is charged at the current hourly rate from the time of arrival on site. Materials are charged at cost plus a handling margin. You will be informed of the approximate time and materials required before work begins, and updated if the scope changes.
Hourly Rates
Standard hourly rates apply during business hours (Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm). After-hours, weekend and public holiday rates apply outside these times. Current rates are available on request.
Minimum Call-Out
A minimum call-out charge applies to all Do & Charge work. This covers travel time and the first portion of labour. The minimum charge will be confirmed when you book.
Payment
Payment for Do & Charge work is due on completion. An itemised invoice will be provided showing time, materials and any applicable call-out fees.
